Durante años me negué rotundamente a ser parte de esa seudofiesta llamada «Halloween» (para los peruanos, digo, teniendo en cuenta que aquí celebramos el Día de la Canción Criolla), pero no me quedó otra que aceptar la invitación… y, así, iré a una fiesta de Halloween. Increíble. Pero cierto. Es el poder de las circunstancias… y es mi poca discrepancia con dicha festividad, que acabo de descubrir…

How was the Halloween party? I’m not too happy that this holiday is spreading all over the world…I think each country should have its traditions – that’s what makes every place unique. If people do the exact same things everywhere, and you can find the exact same things everywhere (McDonald’s, etc), why bother going anywhere anymore?
Good point. But the unique traditions aren’t the problem… here we should celebrate El día de la Canción Criolla, but as everyone wants to be yankee, we copy your foreigner traditions :s
